any way to edit?

I'm really interested in editing some vehicle attributes but I've seen that the game throws an error after you change values within the database (I backed up before hand and restore was just a copy and paste of the original db.

There's a number of signatures I'd like to test with different values.

Is there any way to change things like vehicle signatures?
