Possible Bug?

I've moved a bunch of units up near the allied landings in zones covered by interdiction. Those units took some damaged elements for the privilege.

Afterwards, I am looking around to see what units I can attach support units, and it appears that when they are attached, they 'teleport' into the unit, suffering no casualites.

Granted it is not a lot of CV we are talking about here, but I did expect to see some damage.
