I'm getting this message. Problem is, even if the prompt suggests a choice, I can only accept or cancel. In the latter case I will simply be returned to the question again, next time I hit execute. If there's a real choice? I rather not have the AI handle this Allied nation. Can I play it or do I have to accept AI taking charge?

You mean you want yo switch side to give orders?
Esc key doesnt works?
A possibility is to execute the turn lettibg the ai give orders. And reload the previous turn selecting the other side.

No, I'll get it now. I'm confusing this game with AJE, where there might be several players. In this game, I always command all unit of either the Catholic or the Protestant side, isn't that so?
