cant open file

My pbem enemy cant open the file I sent.I am Axis.I took the same file,put it in my save and ran it no problem as WA.Any idea why he cant open the file I sent??[&:]

You can open a pbem game as the opposing player? [&:] Glad I play on the server.

Something could have happened in the mailing. Try emailing the turn to him again.

I am Axis....I sent him the first turn to play as WA after I already created my (Axis) password....Axis player sends file first...but WA takes turn first...once WA creates password opposing player cant open.

What scenario are you playing? If it's one where the German player goes first, than the WA player needs to set up the scenario. Bulge and Salerno are the two I can think of like this.

GC 43...I took the same file I sent WA player...I was able to put in save folder and start as Wa...though I exited game when asked to create WA password

Means you can read the file and start as the WA player. That is normal. The question is why can't he read the file. I can't answer that. What version is he using and does it match your version?
