Thank you for the more than quick reply. I did not see that feature listed on the product page.

Works well too, I might add, one of my favorite things! I tried it out many times while testing.

Good point, budd.

Battle Generator allows you to select some parameters (date, countries involved, type of battlefield, size of engagement, engagement type) and the game randomly generates a battle for you

Is now listed on the product page.

Thanks for the tip!

Absolutely

Choose Israel vs Pro East?

That should be a good/easy victory!

Shucks, now I had to go and buy it.

Back in the day, I enjoyed playing random battles using Arab-Israeli War counters on the Panzer Leader map boards, as a makeshift NATO vs Warsaw Pact game. So just wondering if EF and WF terrain data/graphics could be imported into CSME for both custom scenarios and battle generator scenarios?

Also along these lines, I note the Generic ProWest and ProEast CEVs in Appendix A are both very low. These should be editable, but why not make them higher averages by default? Then they could represent generic NATO and Warsaw Pact values.

Of course, a mod package at some point that does all this would be nice. Hint...

The game saves random battles in the Scenario folder and then you can edit them in the scenario editor which is very handy.

Don't forget that, in the map editor, you can also edit the randomly created map files before playing.

can you make a map and add it so you can use it in random battles?

No, not really.

Well, I'm sure you could replace your map for the randomly generated map, assuming the size was identical, but it won't generate a battle with a user created map.
