Can't shoot enemy units / Can only shoot my own units!?

I just played my first round and encountered a strange problem. I can't shoot any enemy units. I can only tell my own units to shoot at themselves. I have no idea where this bug comes from but a quick and easy solution would be nice! [:)]

I am using Windows 8.1 as an operating system, if that information is of any value.

All right, I was just totally confused. Because I had the same back once in East Front and West Front. Now it is working perfectly fine!

Why is friendly fire a feature? It is cool. But why would I want to shoot my own units?

You wouldn't want to. But in Real Life, actual combat, sh*t happens. We're allowing for that.
