Just got my physical copy of the game. The back of the box says there is a printed color manual with the game, but there isn't one in the box? Is that correct?

Yep, no manual, only PDF. Does not look to be an option.
I am more afraid of an army of 100 sheep led by a lion than an army of 100 lions led by a sheep.
