Cannot update nor install

I had WitW installed and I tried to update it today. Every time I try to run the update, either fromt he updater program or directly by running the update, I get an error that says: "Encountered a sharing violation accessing C:\Matrix Games\Gary Grigsby's War in the West Autorun.exe So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and I get the same error trying to install the game.
I am running Windows 10.

I've tried this both by just running the program and by trying "run as administrator."

Any thoughts?

Close the WitW game menu and restart update. This may be shown as a small icon on the taskbar, otherwise kill process via task manager.

I do that and still get the ""Encountered a sharing violation accessing..." error.

I will go in and delete anything that gets installed up to that point, make sure anything running is closed, and still get the error when I try again. I've even restarted the computer and still get the error.

OK, I found the problem. The Panda Antivirus program was interfering with the install and the update. Once I turned it off, everything worked fine.

I have the same problem when trying to update to v10112. Unfortunatly I can't disable my virus scan on one of my machines, is there another way?

no, game and updates need to be installed as or on a admin full access account, so all files needed are installed, without being able to install these files, the game won't install or update, all antivirus engines can be temp disabled, most won't even run in safe mode (hint)

what's the AV engine?
