Command: Northern Inferno is a DLC for Command: Modern Operations. Set in 1975, the Cold War is omnipresent and beneath the veneer of détente the tension between the two superpowers irreversibly escalate towards the ultimate confrontation.

I was really enjoying it, then I sunk one cruiser and the scenario ended with 700 points. I'll play it again as a standalone.

Playing in standalone will change initial mission setting?

As I have stated in many other threads, we have set the pass-scores for the scenarios in campaign mode to be low enough that you can advance with just a minor victory. Once you reach that level, nothing stops you from further playing the scenario for a better score and then advancing to the next one.
