Small Data file request..

Hi,

The default data files that cannot be changed are “read only..”

This is good.. as discussed a while back. However in Office 365 or whatever it is called.. Windows 10 used too.. the “read only..” has become the data not being visible at all.

Is it possible that the setting could be changed for the default files so that they can be read only, but still visible?

Good to have the shipped default figures to refer to if you slip up and change the user files without having saved under a different name.

We have two files in the database. The User file is an exact copy of the "locked/hidden" OTS data file we use for the scenarios. The OTS versions are hidden in all office versions, not just Win10. What I can do this weekend is drop a set of the latest data files on to our website. Also if you are on steam, you can move or delete the bad user file and do a file integrity check. You can also wait for the 2.0.10 update coming out shortly and it will have clean versions.

Either way we will get you set up with new copies. Heck I could post a zip with the user files here too.

Thanks.. no rush..

I stupidly changed something in the US user file without saving it first under a new name.

But happy to wait until 2.0.10.

Was tweaking a few things to get something close a ’73 Israelis units to test on small, WIP Chinese Farm type scenario.

Works great.

But you know my view already, this engine can happily do anything WWII through to today.
