We're playing GE (helmet guy) vs. US (me). Reason was that in last battle Viking trashed my Germans so bad that we took a rematch using the opposite sides. I have no hope for victory this game either. :p

More arty - I forgot to set priority hexes in this game too!! And used a .50 cal jeep to call in smoke! And I can't cancel the order! Smoke will arrive NEXT turn...

Spotted some forces and made my best to suppress them. We ain't going anywhere near soon

Note: V2 has captured almost all central VH's in turn 1!

Not much killed a scout team

Sending my eyes and ears forward, too much forward I fear. One of my teams took four VH's to the south, but they will be dead soon, pro'lly..

Artillery exchange on both sides, bombing suspected enemy positions. :p

And I'm SO happy with the 0.1 response time for 60mm mortars! Go U.S!

Greyhounds are alot more visible than scouts....

I'll see the turn soon, hopefully they found out something worthwile for our artillery....

Playing U.S. is still quite novel for me, so I'm having tremendous fun with the 0.1 delay times.

Our scouts run into incursori squads, we win at one point and lose at the other. That squad promptly received small gift packages of 82mm size.

Not much else, we see some Späher as well, but no armor, although they were wreaking havoc on my scouts in the last turn. Did they disappear?

US arty starting to hurt some:mad: Killed two more scouts, not much else, I spotted a Greyhound that must have had its range set low because it didn't fire, he can live for now

Otherwise mostly recon movement, a group runs into a Späher group and promptly executes it. Another runs into one of those AA abominations and foolishly decides to pick a fight... :rolleyes: Those MG-schütze behind it sure didn't help my cause either, hehe.

Lose a LOT of troops to splash damage from mortars!

and oh yeah - the americans are wusses... taking suppression from a mortar hit two hexes away... :rolleyes:

Pffft... Rangers! Throw an odd mortar grenade or two at them and they won't do anything but kiss dirt and cry for mommy. :rolleyes: Where's my Grenadiers? :p

Almost nothing, I move what can be moved (which isn't much when you're dealing with the U.S. army, where "U.S." stands for "Unlimited Suppression")

Throw some arty around hoping to hit something.

Sorry I forgot that I had the file, I was able to spot two Shermans the crews looked cold now they can warm them selves by the burning Shermans:rolleyes: Killed a Greyhound in the south, in the North a lucky Grehound absorbs two rounds from a Panther but is still alive. Back to you

What did I think?! Playing the guys who gets Shermans issued to them!! I'm not going out of hiding....

We're doing some...eh... creative maneuvers (read: pulling back as fast as we can). V2 is one elusive enemy. One time he's there, the next second he's *poof* gone! Like that!

I forgot a very essential part of my army so begging your pardon, but about 500p of reinforcements are on their way...:rolleyes:
