Question about the battle report

Post by astharoth »

i would like to know if the battle report is an approximation or
is it a precise report of what happen?
i'm asking this because jp attacked one of my base with

-12 a6m2 zero
-9 g3m nell
-5 g4m1 betty

my cap was

-7 p-400
-20 p-39d
-12 p-40e

i look a bit at the battle and clearly saw 3 p-40e die then press the done, then the bombardement screen showed up then press done. Here are the wierd results

zero- 3 destroyed
g3m- 10 destroyed
g3m- 1 damaged
g4m1- 2destroyed
g4m1- 2damaged

allied

p39d-3 destroyed + 1damaged
p40e- 1destroyed + 2 damaged

also both jp bombers were at 200ft

seems to be an unrealistic reports

Fog of war affects these numbers tremendously. The combat report will even differ from the numbers that you see in the replay. Keep in mind that when an aircraft is damaged in the CR it can be killed later and show up in both columns. The damage can also occur multiple times to the same plane and so it will be counted everytime it is damaged.

The only number that I know of that is "hard" fact is the intel report loss numbers reported every turn.

Hope this helps...
