2by3 NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Apparently enough people have been upset with some of
the Naval Air Strike results they've gotten to make them want
to take a look at some of the stranger results. They are not
looking to add on a lot of additional control choices, but they
are worried over some of the suicidal attacks being made on
heavily CAP'd targets like Rabaul or Moresby and such. They
want to look at some of these examples to see if a "bug" might
have worked it's way in during one of the "patches".

PLEASE. If you have a "save" that includes one of your Naval
Strikes making a suicidally foolish attack on a Port hex they
would like to see it. Send it to Joel's attention at:

If you can give them a hand in checking out some of these very
wild and upsetting "strike choices" they would appreciate it.
Again, they ARE NOT looking for examples of "I wanted to hit
TF "X" and the game attacked TF "Z" instead". The are looking
for examples of "I wanted to attack TF's "X", "Y", or "Z" out at
sea---and the AI sent half my bombers into a "forlorn hope"
attack on a totally unthreatening TF "A" in some heavily
defended Port Hex". They suspect this "preference for making
totally stupid attacks" might be a bug.

I am assuming your are asking for saved games from UV also?

Actually my land based air is the ONLY thing going right in my game against Feinder right now. I can pretty much flatten PM with it with impunity right now. Haven't seen anything like this bug you are describing, but my bombers are normally heavily escorted.
