Will the current TOAWIII Equipment Editor work with TOAWIV?

If duct tape doesn't fix it then you are not using enough duct tape.

The BioEd works with it. I don't know about anything else since I don't use them. What do you mean by TOAWIII Equipment Editor? ODD, maybe?

Well, if it creates the standard .eqp file that worked under III, it should work under IV, no matter what it is.

Nothing slips past you does it....

If the TOAW IV equipment file format is unchanged (which will be a shame because "it's XML Jim but not as we know it") them my Equipment Editor will be ok otherwise not so much.

Incidentally, it looks like the TOAWIIIEqpEditor will work with TOAW IV.

Greetings,
This is a repost from the TOAW III Forum re: AT Values in TOAW. An important topic and one worth looking at.

Has anyone looked at the AT/AP values in the Steel Panther series (Matrix and Shrapnel Games). I took a look them at one point with a view for converting them to TOAW scale. They actually looked pretty good. I have no idea how Norm got his figures; they work pretty well, some outliers, but I wonder if more research has gone into the Steel Panther values?

Incidentally, Curtis Lamay has more or less said no change to the basic .eqp files except the added new equipment, and will leave it to individual designers to include scenario.eqp files. BUT he suggested this will be more seamless and user-friendly than the present cut and paste dance, perhaps it will simply open in the scenario file like the .bmp scenario photo.

Does anyone have a spread sheet of current (and proposed) values that can be downloaded and edited?

The EQP file is a text file and you can edit it as it is............it's XML

EDIT: The hard part is knowing which flag effects which feature.
