Reassigning PG

Post by Amicofritz »

OK, so I need to reassign a PG to another theater. Hitler wants Leningrad, so AGN needs it, from AGC. But how do I change the fuel flow from AGC to AGN, which - after my decision - will now have 2 PGs?

But doesn't that make the ability to play that card rather pointless by negating its effects?

Well, obviously, if Hitler ordered a PG to change its operational direction and aim, surely it'd receive the fuel needed. If this is not possible in the game, well ...

It is in the manual. Don't have it handy but iirc the fuel comes from the new theatre to which the pg is assigned. It could be under fuel use or reassignment in the manual. Let us know where it is. I will look when I can.

Somewhere in a thread on this forum Vic or Cameron explained this aspect very well. Try a search [X(]

Cool. I still haven't read most of the manual yet. Happy to see if I'm wrong on this[:)]

I believe that is taken care of automatically.

Read 6.1.6.16 for full details of fuel and transferred panzergruppes.
Fuel is drawn from the theater you start in. A portion of the panzergruppe's fuel will also be assigned to the new theater (from the HQ to the other theater's stockpile). This happens when the HQ moves to the other theater.

Ah, important. Thanks, guys. This game is a bit like chess, or suduko, only loads of more fun, IMO. ;-)
