Happy New Year to you all, but especially those of you who take the time to write AARs and those who help when questions are asked.

I'm very happy to put 2015 behind me. The boss agrees.

I'm looking forward to spring baseball, steaks on the grill, and a few new books.

Cheers,

My father hopes for a cross town LA area World Series before he goes. It's about all he has left to live for. He might settle for the Cubs winning the World Series, one of he few things that hasn't happened in his lifetime (born in 1920). The Cubs were the team he followed as a kid.

I got this from my most excellent PBEM opponent this morning, it made a painful morning a little easier to handle.

"I am 54 years old, but none the wiser than 30 years ago. The only thing that has changed in that aspect is that I can afford better liquor.

Still I regret nothing though getting beastly drunk.  My brother and I were the last standing .. in figurate way of speech.
Drinking 25 year old Dominican rum and listing to one of my altime favorite albums  :  Hair of the dog
That album is my opinion the masterpiece of the rock of the 70´s.

..and an appropriate title as my day started with  3 eggs made over easy, well peppered and served on soft white bread with a beer.
..and the universal remedy of a Fernet Brance."

I really like the mistake? listing. [:D][:D]

I'm a bit wiser but mostly out of self preservation.. I'm fairly young but it does hurt more then it did 15 years ago....

That's the truth. I indulged at my son's wedding last year, and it didn't feel good afterwards.
