And guess what : My first impression is extremely positive ! First, the 300 pages good-looking manual was a great surprise (always felt frustrated with these 70-page manuals). I'm currently reading it and it's clear and well written (as far as I can judge
Second, the game is looking very good. Lovely classical map, counters, plenty of information displayed in good looking windows, etc. I particularly like the units images in the bottom panel. Cards are good looking too. The whole thing is a pure pleasure for the eyes.
Video tutorials are a great way to step in the game.
And last but not least, the scale and difficulty seem both perfectly adapted with a perfect mix between complexity and playability (unlike WiTE which in fact I never managed to play). And the most important, the game seems definitely different from the 100's of already-played WW2 wargames existing on the market.
A new paradigm ?
I will probably have plenty of questions (and maybe even some criticisms) but I wanted to give my first impression and congratulate the devs !
Good jobs guys, looks like a gem !
