Strategic Movement

Post by elmo3 »

Is it implemented? I tried moving Soviet units by strategic movement. A popup came up asking me to select the HQ to provide CAP. When I clicked on the List button the list that popped up was empty. I tried adding trains to Soviet Army HQ's but that looks like it was just for moving Army HQ's by rail as none of my HQ's that were off the rail network could move at all. I don't see any place to assign CAP to an HQ. What am I missing? Thanks.

I think I might have made an error. Could you try placing German Trains in the Soviet HQ?

Best wishes,

OK, I see what happened. It works with Soviet trains for Soviet HQ's but only if those HQ's are on a rail line. If you assign trains to an HQ and it is not on a rail line then the HQ can't move and you can't use the trains to strategic move other units either.

Maybe what I'll do is just assign all the trains to the Front HQ since that probably won't move anyway.

Let me know if you still want me to test German trains in a Soviet HQ.

Edit - It's working now for both sides with trains in AGC and Western Front and those HQ's on rail lines. Thanks.
