How is Morning Sun?

Any reviews?

I'm assuming you are pretty much compelled to play as the Japanese because the Chinese forces were pretty weak at the time if I am correct.

I love it ... playing third scenario.
It is not perfect historical, but is fun and well playable. Chinese forces are weak except some stronger units (all heavy infantries, some armors, some aircrafts ...)

Excuse my English ... I hope is better then Your Czech ... 8-)

I've gone through the first three scenarios as the Japanese and I find this game fun and interesting. Especially the older units and transports (did I see a horse there..."nay"). A bad pun indeed but the game is fun.

Unless I am missing something, there is no way to play Morning Sun as anything but the Japanese. That takes away a bit of the challenge and enjoyment for me.

I would like to see a Chinese campaign. But it is a lot of work even if you could reuse units and maps.
Also, it would primarily be a defensive campaign, not all players is fond of getting their butts kicked too often [;)]

Correct bru888: you can't play as the Chinese which does take away from the fun. The developers should be able turn update the game so that you can play as the Chinese. But that may be disappointing in the first few scenarios.

Hotseat mode is only available for multiplayer scenarios not hot campaign scenarios.
Campaign scenarios are balanced for Human vs AI not for Human vs Human.
