That is a sobering thought. You stroll around and enjoy the time spent at the museum, only to find out afterwards that you were not as survivor.

one seldom referenced note is the Widener library was created at Harvard after the Titanic and the death of a family member ..
Note that while still a private and elite, sic cough gag, Library it is a fine large library... one of the worlds largest. Not to be to somber but this would be an example of extreme making a lemon pie out of a really tragic "lemon"
I personally can think of few things worse than family deaths and the pain they cause and all...

Additionally, passenger expectations have moved ahead light years since 1912. Who is going to pay to be crammed in 3rd class? From memory even 1st Class didn't have bathrooms in their rooms.

My wife and I both survived... We were both 1st class passengers which gave us a pretty good chance. I forgot our names but I remember coming home and looking up their rooms on-line.

After seeing a replica of the 3rd class rooms I agree with Neilster; I really can't imagine paying top dollar compared to todays standard. I would think one compromise with history would be bathrooms in each room.
