'No base game installed'?

I'm having problems updating to version 1.10. I had a previous version of CMANO installed (1.08) and just downloaded and installed 1.09. It has created a new 'Game of the Year edition' folder. When trying to install 1.10, the installer tells me that I have 'Base game not installed'. The installer then quits.

What's the problem here? How can I update to 1.10?

Try pointing at where command exists when that dialog of the installer appears.

Hmm, I was getting this issue also when it lead me to uninstall everything then I got a new problem. See my newer post...

When you're prompted regarding where to install the update, you MUST redirect it to the game's base directory.

1) Reinstall your game.

2) Record the name and path for the directory which the installer indicates your software is being installed to on your system before you start the install.

3) Redirect the update to the directory which you recorded.
