A few questions

Post by jhpanther »

Hi Peter
I have been worried about no multiplayer option, but I must admit that the Teamviewer/Skype setup and hotseat play is enough for me so far. I have played with my friend and it works very well. I will as many others thank you for a game we have waited for in many years. I have a few questions:
1. Is the scouting skill for a BU AFV reduced? My BU panzers sees easily infantry far away in buildings and can therefore unrealistic be used for recon in citys.
2. Is the impact of your firepower depending on the range to the enemy ?

1. Is not taken into account, you either have LOS to a target or not (regardless if your unit is a personnel unit or an AFV). One way to limit this effect would be to overall reduce LOS for a scenario, though this can only be done in the editor.
2. Yes

In terms of number 2 Peter is it:
1) same firepower all all hexes in normal range or
2) firepower is different for 3 hexes away versus 4 hexes away?

Thanks.
