Woeful OBA Accuracy

Post by anthonykevinluke »

Hi, is it just my luck or does everyone find that player directed OBA is really inaccurate. Would be nice to be able to adjust fire like in Steel Panthers!

Cheers,

I have actually had the spotting round land next to my leader and radio. Since I cannot make an adjustment or call it off, I have move away from my own artillery before it fires.

Yes; I think that OBA needs some serious fixing in the next patch - or let the AI control mine as it does it's own! I have had missions cancelled as rounds went 'off the map', and this meant it was a 10 + hex scatter!!! My other real gripe is the frequency of wpn breakdowns, especially AFV main armament. I spent over 20 years in armoured vehicles and can only remember a main armament malfunction 3 times! Misfires and 'hung' rounds yes, but not malfunctions/breaks. TOTH Team - please have a look at these issues ...

Cheers,

Tony
