Posting problem.

Post by stormbringer3 »

I've been posting on these forums for years and the format in the posting box matched the preview box exactly. Now when I type in the box I get one long sentence. Making any changes is very difficult because I can't see most of the post. When I go to the preview box every thing is formatted perfectly and the resulting post here is fine. I've no idea how or why it changed. Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello Stormbringer,

The Fast Reply and Post Reply boxes are working as normal for me, so it sounds like either a cache issue or some form of Scriptblocker is in use. Which browser are you using? Also, on this browser have you either installed any add-ons recently and if so please try disabling these then see if the posting boxes are working as expected. If you are using a scriptblocker, either an ad-blocker or a scriptblocker like NoScript, please try either allowing the Matrix Forum site as an exception to these or alternatively disable these temporarily.

If this fails to help, then please try clearing the cache/temporary files stored by the browser and see if the issue persists. If you don't know how to do these, then please can you let me know which browser you are using and I'll try to find a guide for these.

Hi Joseph.
I took your advice and cleared the cache/temporary files stored by my browser. I think that clearing them fixed my problem. Thank you so very much for your advice and help. I never would have thought of doing that to fix my problem.
