Barkmann`s Corner

Post by fuselex »

Thanks' rico :) , Barkmann`s aim kept straight throughout the scenario and as a bonus I scored a panzerschrek kill.
German minor victory, but thanks to those who helped explain the PF and panzerschrek mechanics I never felt like just
throwing those anti-tank weapons at the enemy infantry in frustration . BIG THANKS ALL.

I have played it once and had the misfortune of missing the shot with the Panther in DF, only to have a Sherman nail it in AF.

I lost but the PSK got two Shermans. Only shoot at one hex if the target is moving, and two if stopped.
The game is afoot!

I played the scenario twice, once per side, getting a Major Victory each time.

As the Germans, Barkmann Panthers went OOC on the first turn [:(], but the AI sent one Sherman per turn [&:], so I easily destroyed all of them and stopped the infantry.

As the Americans, I charged down the road with as many Shermans as possible in the first turn: I lost two, but the others managed to destroy the Panther. Then, a Shermans then passed through the woods and began shelling the German squads from a safe distance until all of them broke.
Chasing Germans in the moonlight is no mean sport
