Do scenarios exist outside campaign game?

I have Order of Battle Pacific and the US Marines additional package as well as the latest update of the former running on my MacBook. Technically everything seems to be working but I have a question about "scenarios." One of the reasons I bought the US Marines update was that other than the training scenarios, my only option with Order of Battle Pacific seemed to be fighting my way through the entire campaign to get at the battles I really wanted to game. The description of the US Marines add on however mentioned a tantalizing list of scenarios so I paid my $10 and got it. When I look for stand alone scenarios however using the scenario tab this long list of scenarios is nowhere to be seen. So my question is are there supposed to be actual stand alone scenarios for battles like Saipan and Iwo Jima which somehow are not showing up for me or is the term "scenario" in this game used only to describe a list of the various battles you will encounter as you play through the campaign? If the latter is true I think someone needs to rewrite the game description because to me it is misleading.

Not for the moment. But the developers will make them available as separate/single scenarios in the patch.

In the latest update (2.4.8) all scenarios completed in the campaign will become available as separate scenarios in the Scenarios menu.
