New Game Executable (beta version)
Hi All,
I thought I would share with you all a bug fix regarding: firing AFV in motion cannot acquire target in Advancing Fire Segment vs Infantry Target Type (see here for details: tm.asp?m=4204509 )

NOTE: make sure you install UPDATE2 before overwriting the game executable with the 1.0.53 version attached in this message.

Downloaded and installed:
1) Works fine (SU-122s killed a StuH III G and a Sd Kfz 251/1 in "Hill 621" [:D])
2) Cannot test since my PC uses a higher resolution
3) Works fine: "Infantry" does no more appear when you target an AFV that is alone in a hex.
I have also discovered - perhaps - a minor glitch:
During a Fire Segment, I fired into a hex containing a StuG III B and three Russian squads of mine in CC. I killed the AFV, but the squads remained marked with <MELEE> and were unable to fire or move; the CC marker remained in the hex until the Close Combat segment. Is this how it is supposed to be?

Do you have a saved game file by any chance? This would help a lot to identify the MELEE issue.

Unfortunately, I didn't save the game because I was not certain if it really was a bug or not.

I can try reproducing the issue in a purpose-made scenario and attach the saved file here.
I believe I have resolved this Melee/Close Combat issue in UPDATE1, let me know please if you come across the issue again. Yes, saved game file will be a big help.

Update 1 solved the issue, if the one of the opponents is destroyed during the resolution of the CC.
This is a somewhat special case, since the AFV was destroyed by fire coming from another hex (one usually does not fire in a hex containing friendly units in CC with enemy ones: I don't know if they can be hurt by friendly AP fire directed at the AFV, but I certainly wouldn't like to be there [;)])

Here are two saved game files:
"AFV-CC-lock_Pre-Fire-Segment" was saved at the very start of the German Fire Segment: there are seven T-34 M43 in CC with as many German Elite squads.
"AFV-CC-lock_Pre-Fire-Segment" was saved after all the T-34s have been destroyed by the Pz Kpfw IV H's. The target hexes are still marked with the CC marker and the squads previously engaging the T-34s in CC cannot be selected. The marker remains in place until the end of the Close Combat segment. The squads cannot be selected (and therefore cannot undertake any activity) in the Fire, Movement, Advancing Fire and Advance Segments.

Why if i try to instal this new Game Executable my PC say audiere.dll is not present?I'm quite doubtful on some site that propose the download of this DLL.Someone can upload the file?
