a proposition for PBEM

Post by deVada »

The phases of PBEM game should be reorganized.

The execution phase should be calculated just after the Allied turn (but Allied player shouldn't see it, the game could give us some music or something in the meantime), then ready to view replay should be available to Japanese and then Allied player as they do their turns.

It will prevent multi solutioning possible in currently used model.

Mika, Jeremy ... can we do something with it ?

Regards
Peter

I looked at this regarding some other PBEM problems, but there is no way I can change it without breaking it.

PBEM anybody? I'm looking for my first online game. I'm a lamb to the slaughter. Any takers?

just because I'm talkative, it doesn't mean I have game experience. My first PBEM game so far is a disaster. I can't hardly get past the email portion without screwing something up.

Showboat1 - Yeah, the first PBEM game is quite a different experience to your usual AI game. For the first month, I was analysing every order I gave with trepidation. The AI is much more forgiving than a human player to mistakes.

Cheers
