SS infantry replacements

The development team behind the award-winning games Decisive Campaigns: From Warsaw To Paris and Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive year and theater of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue simulates the German drive to Stalingrad and into the Caucasus of the summer of 1942, as well as its May preludes (2nd Kharkov offensive, Operation Trappenjagd) and also the Soviet winter counter-offensive (Operation Uranus) that ended with the encirclement of 6th Army in Stalingrad and the destruction of the axis minor armies. With many improvements including the PBEM++ system, this is a release to watch for wargamers!

SS infantry replacements

Post by Barre76 »

Hello all,

My OKH HQ has a large number off SS troops in it's troop roster, about 14000 now while my frontline units are screaming for replacements but it won't send out any SS infantry, regular German infantry gets send out every turn.

My SS troops/divisions are in command , i have not changed any HQ's since the start of the scenario, they are controlled by III and IV corps respectively,II and IV are controlled by the second panzerarmy HQ, wich in turn is controlled by OKH, what am I doing wrong ?

Thanks !

What could be the case is that you do not have the necc. number of SS halftracks and trucks. The replacement troop systems prefer to keep a motorized/mechanized unit mobile instead of reducing it to foot speed due to lack transport for the infantry.

best wishes,
Vic
