What is the level of command?

Forum dedicated to the Scourge of War Game set during the Napoleonic Wars. Scourge of War: Waterloo follows in the footsteps of its American Civil War predecessors and takes the action to one of the most famous battles in history. It is by far the most detailed game about the final battle of the War of the Seventh Coalition.

What is the level of command in the game?

Platoon?
Company?
Brigade?

Can I issue orders at different levels?

From brigade - division - corps - army, depending on scenario. You can issue orders at different levels.

The basic idea is that you give orders to one level down, and if you want you can take command of your subordinates and give orders directly to units under them. So for example as a division commander you may play by ordering your brigade commanders, that will autonomously try to follow them. If you wish, you can take command of a brigade commander, and then you can order the battalions... etc.
