balance vs AI as opposed to multiplayer

Post by gwgardner »

I have felt that the balance is about right so far, playing beginner level as AXIS vs the Allied AI.

However, if playing against a human opponent I'm guessing it would be real tough to crack France in 1940. Remember, the AI never fights back on the land, it is strictly defense. That leads the AXIS player to leave wide open flanks just begging for a counter-offensive. A human player would easily do that.

Anyone want to try email multiplayer?

I thought that as well. However, when I invaded Russia in Mar 1940 things changed. At first it seemed the AI would be docile. After a couple of turns the UK declared war on Belgium and quickly steamed rolled them and my small force.
