Unused convoys

Hello All,
I was setting up the Global War scenario and was wondering if there is a way to tell which convoys are unused. When you click on the unused number it shows just a few cities where oil is saved. I am trying to make sure I don't have extra convoys in places and it doesn't seem that the number of convoys used (the far left column on the production page) is always shown.
Any tips?

Bring up the production form (cntl-P). Select the alternative map view, which shows the convoy routes. Select the button that shows convoys for all powers on your side, rather than just you own. Click on "Show unused convoys".
This will show you your unused convoys.

Make sure that your convoy routes are the way you want them before you do this. It is not good to send home convoys that were supposed to be moving idle resources.

Thanks! That is what I was looking for.
The convoy management seems to be one of the more complicated aspects of the game, especially for the CW.
I have considered making all the factories idle and starting from scratch but that seems like lots of work. Does anyone have any tips for setting up the routes, especially for the CW?
