Movement Class

Post by Crius »

Hi!

In the manual on page 65 (8.1 Unit counters), on the counter below the Unit Designation there is a letter for Movement Class.
I can't find an explanation for this in the manual, what does the letters mean? I thought that T on tanks stood for tracked but then I have seen it changed to an S?

Crius, The is a bug that surfaced in a few folks' games a while back. What version of the game engine are you running. You can find that in the lower right of the main menu screen. I'm going to move this to Tech Support thread as well so we can keep an eye on it.

Ok, thanks!
I am running version 2.0.10bs on steam.

Just to clarify my post. I did not know this was a possible bug, the movement class change to S I saw on a Youtube film, not in my own games.
I just wanted an explanation what the letters in movement class stands for, could not find it in the manual.

T = tracked?
W = wheeled?
L = ?
R = ?
S = ?

Thanks again, looking forward to next game i series!

T is tracked, W is wheeled, R is Rotor, L is leg, The S? Is a bug we never could reproduce in the development environment.

Hopefully, the "S" movement class bug was squashed.

The weird thing about that bug is that there are no "S" or "S?" string elements that we use. Best guess would be some memory corruption.

Out of curiosity which YouTube video had the "S" movement class.
