Unit Disappearing Act with Focus Pacific

Post by dazoline II »

Using scenario 72 for Focus Pacific 1.03 and AE 1.7.11.24. I've gotten to Late March as the Allies and come across two disappearing units. I recall this used to be an issue way back in WITP but its been years since I've seen it.

The first case is with the 27th Division. When loaded at San Fran it was whole and completely loaded on TF 153. Docking it yesterday in Noumea there were 4 parts to the division spread across 4 xAPs. After playing the turn I look at the unit again and there's no parent unit and only tiny fragments left on two xAPs as can be seen in the screen shot.

The second scenario issue is with the 57th Costal Artillery which is now a fragment on Pago Pago and is attached to the Japanese 44th division. This one I didn't observe changing.

Is this an issue with the scenario or with the game? As I seem to remember these issues steming from a DB issue. I have both before and after saves for the 27th division,

I wonder if the filtering is affecting the display of the unit. Is there a chance that two of the Amphib APs completely unloaded their two fragments but they are not showing up on Noumea because they are not a complete unit yet?

Ran the turn and the two fragments show up in Noumea but the majority are still MIA.
