Install issues

Just got this game an hour ago. I launched the installer and all appeared to work fine. When I went to play the game I noticed that there was no folder created, no shortcut no nothing. As if the game was never installed. I tried again to install and still nothing. Tried to run the installer in admin mode, nothing. I have windows 7 and cant find much on this issue. Hoping someone can help.

Update: I was able to install the game in safemode. Upon trying to launch the game in normal mode, I get the Runtime error "Failed to get archived directory listing"........ I have no idea what the hell this is... Any help would be appreciated as this is just getting frustrating now.

what anti virus program are you running and also can you do me a report please? thanks,

How to get a DxDiag report file:

1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8 )
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments (zip) rather than pasted into the body of the post.
