for me testing this at 1920x1080 on windows 10, on a 29" and also have tried a 27" high end monitor, the txt is still too small to be comfortable seen, as per forum post, i only mention it because there was and not the first either a forum post / debate on the same subject
1280 x 1024 is ok here, but I will say that it is still kind of small, and the <empty> is easier to read than the campaign name, I guess because of the colors.
and the larger the display size, the worst it gets imo, this isn't unique either to this game, but most modern game atm with similar engines used
anything shown in yellow doesn't size too well, with a lot or too much info on screen at once, the only option is to use a higher dpi setting to make the screen more readable or usable for me, i mentioned it first on the first release, but as nobody else seems to have an issue or problem with it, and i can get around it, altering either my display size used or DPI setting it's not a real issue as such, but still something to be aware of, as it will be brought up more on release or once seen before release etc

agreed, some colors are slightly easier to see than others, but it's more of a age problem and eye sight problem than pure gaming one, as with most counter type games, too much info on a counter or hex and the down side is the txt has to be smaller to fit it all on
yellow works better for me than just white alone

That's actually shaded yellow. That's why you can read it a bit better. [;)]
some screens are very useful, but the information on them is too small to be seen or readable at all
arrow points to a 1, which is on a white background, and the font color is also white with a black or grey board around it, but most color is white, so chances are most won't see it

for me the whole game needs at least one more level of zoom in, to make it more accessible, or forum will have more than a few complaints imo on release day, this is a personnel opinion and doesn't mean i don't like or can't use it, just doing a job of a tester to give my impression and feedback as required, i have stayed in the background on this one and posted noted i felt needed saying on V1.00.06, some of which have been improved on v.08
i've let others play and test the game, while i'm more bothered about the UI and accessibility of the game in general atm tbh, so are spending time on what maybe others have over looked, or don't interest them or apply to them etc, were as i'm testing for everyone enjoyments and posting for a better product for all.
zoom out works and works very well, the screen is no longer refreshing on every single mouse move or zoom, so another step forward, but for me the biggest and maybe hardest hurdle is the sight requirements atm.
just to make some thing clear so nobody thinks i'm not a fan,
i love the game, the depth, the looks and the feel, the game play and the style... so far have only put in around 20/30 hours into the beta, so by my standards a poor amount of time, with an average of around 200+ hours for beta work being very common for me.

Usually its not the colors, but the contrast that makes things difficult or easy to see. I'm sure the graphics guy knows this.
... i'm more bothered about the UI and accessibility of the game in general ...
Have you noticed that the Dialogs and Pop-Ups are inconsistent - Close, OK, Yes/No - left of screen/right of screen. I think if they were all oriented the same that it would be easier.

just go to the game folder, and it's almost at the bottom of the list, and read what's new as well if you wish, plus in the manual folder, 3 manuals are included as WIP readme's
