V1.08. Short feedback

Post by xavutrecht »

New to the beta (thanks) I dived head first in the game.
I should have gone feet first, no tutorial, I will have to read the documentation...

Western campaign, beginner mode, I played a few turn until April 1940.

Graphics are nice, a bit old school but not a problem for me (reminds me of older games).

NSTR so far, AI seemed ok but not much to do in Poland. German player can easily control Warsaw on turn 2, no big difficulties there.

Naval warfare is fun, disrupting convoys and playing cat and mouse with the British and Canadian navies is nice.

Research mode adds a funny twist. I like the political and technical options proposed to the player (let's build a German CV!).

A lot of clicking, the events pop-ups will usually stay there until I clicked or pressed a key. That's a bit annoying, the event summary could help players to catch a missed event. As I see it now, the event summary is kind of redundant.

An issue with the detailed losses panel, the array is running out of the window.

Nice game so far, and quite addictive.

More to come soon.
