We have no Petrol today - cause we don't want no stick'in petrol

Post by scout1 »

OK. Gotta figure out a way to convince the boys in Tokyo that fuel can be just as important as supplies ....

To date, our Tokyo based quartermaster has amassed some 6M supplies ..... but only 2K in fuel ..... Home Islands ain't short.
Just having issues with the white glove club getting them dirty with petrol ...... Causing my HI there to take a holiday .... PM not happy .....

You'll always have a fuel deficit at the home islands. It runs at about -2300 ish a day. You need to ship it like crazy. Ship it from Palembang, Balikpapan and soerbaja once you grab them.

Use the Industry button at the top of the screen to see what your overall fuel requirement is and what you are getting. Deficits at individual bases should be in red.
If there is another base with the same port size as Tokyo and more demand for fuel than Tokyo, the fuel will stockpile there instead of Tokyo. Try checking Osaka.

Any surplus fuel will go to base with the biggest port. Maybe Tokyo got sidelined by Kure or Osaka?

shipping in a boatload of fuel

You need boatloads, not just a boatload.[:D] But seriously, you need to ship all you can. Now without a whole lotta info on your part all I could suggest is that maybe you have it set to stockpile somewhere else. BTW you didn't increase HI production off the charts, did you? Look at your industry screen and you can see what is required for your daily fuel inputs. Of course that's Empire wide not just the home islands. Also your fleet drinks a lot of 'fleet juice' and that could be sucking up what's available. I don't refuel any boats in home waters unless absolutely necessary. Without some more info that's all I can suggest.
