Other campaigns?

Any chance of seeing other start dates for campaigns while we're still in Beta?

I must say, I can't wait for new ones as well. They've done such an amazing, stellar job with the current one. If the quality and depth is the same I'd even be willing to pay for each campaign as DLC I think they're that good. I don't know how the rest of the crowd would feel. There maybe should definitely? be two campaigns released in the current game to appease people? I don't know, but I know I want more!

I'd love to play test the upcoming additional scenarios, both single player and multiplier.

Speaking solely for myself, I prefer the 'Grand Campaigns' only. In all the WWII games I own I never play 41, 42, 44 etc. What would be of great interest would be a 1936 style thing where you could customize your forces to some degree or engage in a bit of early diplomacy, etc.

In addition to a 1936 style thing, a 1942 style thing might be of interest. In this one nothing war-wize would happen until 1942, all the countries are gearing up for their historically projected 1942 readiness date. May sound boring but the turns would fly by as the player would really only be researching and purchasing.

A start in 36, with the civil war of Spain, would be a blast. This combined with diplomatic challenges, the anschluss of Austria, the claims of Sudentland, and others, could make a great start of a larger campaign.

What priorities should one make?

How about an alternate history where World War Three starts in 1946? [;)]

Operation Unthinkable would have started July 1945. It was a British plan the US rejected to attack the USSR.

In the WWIII 1946 scenario Stalin reacts to "Unthinkable" with his own plan.

Definitely want a Jan. 1942 and a 1935 version. And of course all 3 start dates for the entire world including Pacific Theater... and a WWI... and a Cold War... and a (you get the idea) [:)]

Actually what would be pretty fascinating in a depressing way would be a current day Syria. You have all these controlling interests there: Syria, ISIS, Kurds including the good rebels and EU/US, Russia/Iran, now Turkey. Honestly, it's scary... this is the way World Wars start. [:(]
