Korean War - DMZ Era Topographic Maps - AMS L752 1:50,000 Scale

Post by harry_vdk »

Just upload to the http://www.ontargetsimulations.com site. (Planning maps)

This a example of a QGis project based on http://www.koreanwar.org/html/korean_wa ... _l752.html.

This can used as a start for making Korean DMZ maps or just a example of how can I use QGis.

Currenly this project contain the following data:
- Trimmed gmted_std075 data.
- 18 DMZ maps
- A Google Earth .kmz file per map
- Georeferencer .wld file per map
- Generated Relief file with the next hight difference:
Level 1=100m
Level 2=100m
Level 3=100m
Level 4=100m
Level 5=125m
Level 6=150m
Level 7=175m
Level 8=200m
Level 9=225m
Level 10=250m

On this site are 2 map set
L751 http://www.koreanwar.org/html/korean_war_topo_maps.html
L752 http://www.koreanwar.org/html/korean_wa ... _l752.html

Both cover complete NK & SK.

I have take only the DMZ part of the L752 map set. The L751 have even some more versions of the same area.
