This may or may not be a bug - as the WA, if I use F10 for base info, I can see the number of German aircraft at a base, see attached.

Something must have changed - logged in, attached file and prepared/sent message with no problems.

Yes, it shows reconned air values. More detail is available when you hover mouse over enemy's air field. It can be highly inaccurate if enemy does air group re-base.
