Annoying mouse up down problem

If you click on a base, and the menu that pops up has a button in the location that you clicked on, the on release of the mouse will cause the button to be hit.

This is really annoying because you then have to close out of the menu, move the map over so the base isn't in the screen area that pops up, and then click on the base again.

Dear 2by3: Next time you go to write a game, please don't write your own GUI toolkit. Thank you.
