[WAD]Problem with event editor, possible bug

I am building a scenario in 1.11 SR5 build 847.1 but am now stuck because I can no longer edit some items properly.

1. I created an event called "Iceland Boost", which I subsequently deleted. However, it is still in force as can be seen from the scoring log, though it does not appear in the event editor.

2. I created two actions called "Scenario begins bonus NATO" and "Scenario begins bonus USSR" giving 1000 points to each side. I edited these later to give each side 1400 points but this change has not been implemented though it appears in the editor, the action still delivers 1000 points.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but would be very grateful for any advice. I have attached the scenario file as it stands now rather than a savegame because these issues arise at the beginning.

1. Did the Iceland boost have the scenario is loaded trigger attached to it? If so it fires regardless if opened in the game or editor or starting the game clock. So if fired the next time you opened the editor after creating it. You then saved the game which saved the event into the scenario. Once you do this its hard to get out of but a quick method would to just use the the lua console to subtract the scored points and then save after.

2. Same issue. Scenario loaded trigger and then a save in the editor. On top of that your fixed script isn't active so it doesn't fire the two actions awarding 1400 points. Again lua is probably the most efficient way to fix the score.

Going forward I'd try this workflow. If you must use the scenario is loaded don't set them to active until your last save. That way it won't fire at load the next time you edit.

I think I understand-if you use "Scenario is Loaded" you are effectively making linked actions undeleteable? Quite a trap for the unwary that. Thanks for the explanation.
