Change starting faction

Change starting faction

I havnt played ATG in a few years and I cannot for the life of me remember how to change starting factions in random game. I go through all the setup and get a nice map but dislike any of the factions and would like to add say like the states or empire but cant remember how. Also is there somewhere that shows all the factions and what they are. IE empire - British and their special unit. thanks in advance.

Changing that is something that is pretty hard. To be honest, it would be faster to generate a new map, and hope for the regime you had in mind...

If the faction you want is one of the available AI Countries simply click on the country and change it from AI to Human same with changing Human to AI. If it is not you need to reroll the thing it is nearly impossible to successfully change out one Country for another in the editor.
Favoritism is alive and well here.
