RC-135X Cobra Eye

Post by Havelock »

I've just downloaded the new Command LIVE scenario (Don of a new era) and, as is my want, I'm looking through the platforms, adding some descriptions and photos as I do to the database to increase the educational aspects.

So, in doing so, I've come across the RC-135X Cobra Eye sitting at RAF Mildenhall. My understanding is that this was a briefly existing missile watcher from the late 80's. Anyone know what it's doing in 2016?

Cheers,

Byron

In 1993, it was converted into an additional RC-135S Cobra Ball. (Wikipedia)

Yes it's a minor mistake, you should replace it with the Cobra Ball in the editor.

Thanks guys. We'll so some research on the platform and follow up.

In the future please do post database requests to the db request strings here. It does help us be more efficient in getting these kinds of things done.

Thanks!
