Questions About Resolution and Map Mods

The store page states this game has a fixed resolution of 1024x768. Is this correct? Are higher resolutions not available?

Also, are they any mods which change the map and some of the icons as frankly those screenshots hurt my eyes?

while the game has been internally tested to check if it works fine with windows 10, i can't find any more information on it about other sizes, will ask and repost, and maybe re test it to check
