The French Navy

Does anyone know what happens to the French Navy once Paris is captured and DE 602 is presented to the Germans?

If yes; does the French Fleet go away? Turned over to Germany and or Italy?

No is pretty easy that the Axis will have to fight/destroy the French Fleet until France totally surrenders.

The manual doesn't seem to lend any light on this so would appreciate anyone who knows to add their comments. Thanks in advance!

If the UK supports the Free French if Vichy is formed then it will receive some ships in due course, see DE 100 in the Manual or Strategy Guide for full details, though note that the Lorraine is actually a Battleship, so the Decision is even better than it looks.

If Germany doesn't form Vichy France then following an Axis conquest of mainland France and Algiers then there is a 20% chance of any surviving French naval units continuing to fight on as Free French.

Thanks for pointing me to DE 100 then 118 and 119. I'm just playing as the Axis for the first time and didn't see these DE's under the UK section!

Boy what a convoluted mess when these DE's kick in involving the formation (or not) of Vichy French! These DE's that the Developers added to this game sets it apart from all the others. Well Done and adds a whole level of strategy to this game!
