Do generals improve ratings?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Do generals improve ratings?

Post by Vadrus »

I have some generals in my current Axis campaign with over 100 victories and no defeats, does that have any impact on their abilities or their units?

I assumed the mechanic of recording victories and losses must have a purpose but wonder at the practical effect?

Hello

AFAIK it can happen. But it is random. So therfore there is no guarantee even if a leader has high number of victories.
