Game freezes

Hello,

This game is just what I've been looking for but I experience the game freezing so often
I'm not able to advance beyond the first few turns. The freezes don't seem to follow a pattern.
I've experienced it in various menus, once when I loaded a BEF corps into a transport from
a French port, etc. I don't get an error message, the game becomes non-responsive and I
have to close it from the Windows 10 Task Manager.

Pressing the ESC key does not help.

Uninstall the game and reinstall it in a different folder than the default location(C:\Program Files (x86)\..), like for example in C:\Games\....

Thank you VPaulus, that seemed to resolve the problem. The game froze once since then when I loaded one of the BEF corps into transports in northern France, but a tap of the "Esc" key unfroze it and play resumed.
