Need help with anniversary coupon and login

Recently I received by email a 3 year anniversary coupon. By chance I am also trying to persuade Mrs. Wolf to buy me Polaris Sector for Christmas, and naturally I would like to use what I assume is a modest discount from the coupon. The trouble began when I clicked the link in the email, which took me to a Slitherine/Matrix combined login page which I could not clear no matter what I tried. I'm pretty sure I used the correct password, which I had just used successfully to login to the forum a few minutes previously. But whatever I tried with the Capcha must have been wrong. Two of them were presented, but whether I tried to enter both or only one, nothing worked. Help would be much appreciated.
